User management
Hypervalent Studio separates who someone is from what they can do in your organization. This section covers both: bringing people in, deciding what they can do and where, and looking after your own account.
How it fits together
Your account (one per person, one email address)
└── member of one or more organizations
├── a role → what you can do (Admin, Content Editor, Billing, Viewer, or a custom role)
└── project access → which projects (all projects, or a chosen list)- One account per person. Your Studio account is tied to one email address and can belong to many organizations. Your name, avatar, password, passkeys and two-factor settings belong to the account and follow you into every organization.
- Everything else is per organization. You can be an Admin in one organization and a Viewer in another. Your role, your project access and the project you last worked in are kept separately for each organization you belong to.
- Every organization has one account owner. The owner can do everything, whatever role they hold, and is the only person who can transfer ownership or delete the organization.
Where to manage people
Open the organization menu in the app bar and choose Manage organizations to reach your organization's page. Its Members card shows how many members and editor seats you have, and Manage users opens the Users list. The Roles card leads to Manage roles.
What you see there depends on your role. Anyone who can view members sees the list. Inviting people, changing roles and changing project access need the Admin role (or a custom role with the Manage permission for users).
